Repair - Harmony 1969 H-165 Vintage Acoustic Guitar Made in USA

This job required some repair, modification and then a setup.

Its all mahogany  front back and sides with Indian rosewood. This model has a truss rod so it dates it to around 1968 -1970.

Setup - Squier Stratocaster metallic gold

Repair - Hohner acoustic electric bass

 

The electronics box had come loose and was moving around when played and causing noises.

The wood the screws were put into was razor thin and had broken away.

I made some small wood blocks and glued them in place.

Then drilled pilot holes and refit the electronics box with new longer heavier duty screws.

Cleaned and oiled the fret board after adjusting the nut height

Lowered the saddle and oiled the bridge
