• glue and clamp separated top back together
• touch up damaged area to color match rest of the body
• clean & oil fretboard
• clean & polish frets
• lower saddle for more playable action
• restring with Ernie Ball Earthwood extra light 10 gauge strings

Setup - Fender Redondo vintage acoustic guitar 1980s

Nice vintage example of a Fender acoustic circa early 1980's in for setup and some maintenance.

• replaced tuner screw with better size

• filed saddle to improve action, removed old shim

Repair - Vox Hurricane vintage 60s electric guitar - Body crack

Very cool vintage guitar from the 1960s, a Vox made in Italy Hurricane model. This one came to me in pieces and in need of some attention.

• clean & polish frets
• clean & oil fretboard
• adjust truss rod and saddles for better intonation
• glue & clamp cracks in body
• service all electronics
• replace slotted screws with matching phillips head
• re-drill screw holes for shrunken pickguard
• install new lower bout strap button
• solder new output jack
• service & lubricate machine heads
• drill out and replace missing bridge post for low E string
• restring with Ernie Ball 10 gauge strings
