Here's an intersting headstock break project, a newer Epiphone Les Paul studio. Was particularly challenging as the neck had been broken in 2 or more areas and from different directions. Lots of glue and clamps and it was ready to rock again!
- prep break for glue removing any loose splinters of wood to ensure good contact with adhesive
- wood glue and clamp the headstock
- color match touch ups on neck and sand and buff to finish
- clean and polish frets
- replace three way pickup switch whcih was also damged on impact
- restring with Ernie Ball 10 gauge strings
